From Vanessa: This is, actually, same “house for demolition” which painting I didn’t yet finish. Andre painted this awesome picture in one day (!) with no even stepping out of the door. It’s view from the window of our studio. I really love this painting! This picture is completely in different mood from mine and it says another story: its name “Urban density” reflects the subject of painting. Houses, built after WW2, are not architectural treasure, they are grimy and dumped. But the dominant theme of the painting is not oddness, but density. Did I already mention? – It’s great picture! Congratulations!
