Wow I love the verticality of the cedar or cypress trees. And the color! Vertical landscapes are hard to pull off and I like this a lot. Thanks for sharing and letting me see this. The trees echo the skyward direction of the minaret. It's great!
Just imagine they're windows. Windows are often long and narrow and we like to have a lot of them. My husband talked about the mystical qualities in Israel. I can see what he meant, better than in the photos he took on his cell phone at the time.
